Research topics encompass aspects of fundamental understanding of image generation and image recovery, recovery of lost phase information in pure intensity measurements, segmentation and reconstruction of  3D volumes, and high-speed automatic processing of large sample series.

The techniques which we investigate and develop focus on different experimental conditions, for example:

  • near field conditions in connection with phase contrast imaging,
  •  far field measurement conditions in the investigation of inhomogeneously strained nanostructures.
